We were fortunate to come across these stunning Mid-Century cantilever-style chairs, crafted from steel and chrome by the South African company Spinmet in the late 1970s. Although we only found three of them, an odd number that led us to break them up, their unique design was too special to overlook.
The chairs have been given a modern update with vibrant green velvet upholstery and polished chrome frames, which show only minor signs of age. Their design bears a close resemblance to the work of Giotto Stoppino for Tecnosalotto.
